A tradition that originated in Europe, the Burning of the Vines ritual typically celebrates the end of winter pruning and the beginning of bud-burst; it symbolises renewal.
You are invited to venture into the vineyard with a glass of ‘La Joie’, our traditional method sparkling wine, and gather around the bonfire with viticulturist Tim Quinlan, to learn more about the tradition and the celebration of rebirth at Passel Estate, as we unveil our exciting new plans.
We will then join winemaker Bruce Dukes back at the Tasting Room for an intimate, vertical tasting of Passel Estate’s most highly awarded red wines.
Bruce and Tim will guide guests through the evolution of 6 outstanding wines, tasting and comparing back vintages from 2015 through 2020.
A delicious platter of charcuterie and handmade farmyard cheese will be served, to complement the wines and complete the experience.
There will also be an opportunity on the day to purchase museum and back vintages (while stocks last).
